When the fall season starts, TV viewers will see the battle of a lifetime! It'll be The DeFranco Family against The Brady Bunch, on an all-star show of "Almost Anything Goes"!
Just
recently, Tony DeFranco (along with his sisters and brothers) met in a challenge
match against four of the Brady Bunch- Chris Knight, Geri Reischl, Susan Olsen,
and Barry Williams!
If you've seen the show, you know it involves "stunts" such as pedaling strange "contraptions" across the floor, balancing balls in unusual positions, and usually at least one "water stunt" in which the participants are guaranteed to be soaked by the end of the show!
This
show was no exception: There were four stunts involved, and by theend of the
show, the DeFrancos had beaten The Brady Bunch soundly- the final score was
DeFrancos 48, Bradys 18!
Dried off (remember the water stunt!) and ready to leave, Tony and Chris Knight talked and laughed about the show, and Chris jokingly said, "We demand a rematch!" There was some hand-shaking and back-clapping, and the two tired (and happy?) teams took off in their "Almost Anything Goes" limousines for home!
The next day, the producer of "Almost Anything Goes," Sam Riddle, called Tony: "Hey, they weren't kidding!" he told the DeFrancos. "The Bradys really do want a rematch!"
Apparently, the Bradys feel they weren't at their super-best, and they know they can do better if they try again! Were Tony and his family just "lucky"? Were the Bradys having a bad day? How would the teams do if there were different stunts involved? The producer is trying to juggle schedules for a rematch right now, so Tiger Beat will keep you posted on "rematch dates." Until then, the friendly "family feud" won't be settled!
